Boyd Myers is one of the most highly sought after professional fitness trainers in the industry. Boyd has trained over 1200 individuals from all walks of life, including professional athletes, fitness competitors, cover models, busy professionals and stay-at-home moms. My name is Boyd Myers and I am a personal trainer in San Antonio, performance nutrition expert, and a competitive bodybuilder.
My personal training and performance nutrition philosophies are extensive and provide intense results. When working with any client, I have two goals. First and foremost, rapid physique transformation. There are a few reasons for this – I do not pay for advertising anywhere. So it is my job to make people ask you “What on earth are you doing?” There’s no magic here. Changes do not happen overnight, but when the proper training regimen is combined with a specific, complimenting nutritional program, amazing things happen with the body.
I push. I push people further than they’ve ever been pushed. I take you ten times further than you have ever been, and you’re going to feel like a million bucks. Instead of saying “no more”, you’ll be craving the next workout.
I am not the typical personal trainer. My style is difficult to define in many ways, because I don’t follow one specific training method. I realize that every client is completely different, thus, each person requires a different approach to ensure they reach their goals. I am an expert at determining what path each client should take. I don’t hoard my knowledge and keep it to myself – I update this blog daily, always sharing my thoughts and beliefs on training and nutrition. I do this to allow potential clients to see exactly what they’re getting when they come to me for training, not forcing them to “wait and find out” if I’m worth what they pay. I take immense pride at being considered an expert, a guru, or simply one of the very best at what I do, and strive to earn those types of accolades every single day of my life.
I focus on every aspect of fitness: nutrition, training, recovery and the mental aspect. Your body will follow your mind, and when you make your mind believe, your body will achieve.
My other goal is education. I understand that a personal trainer is a luxury. Unlike other trainers who expect you to work with them for months or years, I take a different approach: I want you to learn what you need to do, when you need to do it and why you need to do it so that you can do it on your own. Sure, many individuals use a personal trainer for motivation and accountability, and that is fine. However, it is important to me that you get more than what you expect when you hire me as your personal trainer. Transformation can be permanent. Ever heard the saying “Teach a man to fish?” My goal is to “teach you to fish”. Your program is designed to not only get results, but also to gain knowledge so that you can continue to make progress long after your time with me has ended.
